“Even the prince of Congress, he’s feeling the heat in Wayanad… Just as he had to flee Amethi, mark my words, he’ll abandon Wayanad too,” PM Modi declared.

“Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has lambasted Congress leaders in a manner even I refrain from. I’m certain that after the voting in Wayanad is concluded, Congress will scurry to find yet another safe haven for its prince,” PM Modi concluded.

PM Modi asserted that in the initial phase of the Lok Sabha elections, the entire nation rallied behind the BJP-led NDA.

He highlighted how the partners within the INDIA bloc were contending fiercely for 25 percent of the Lok Sabha seats. “If this is the state of affairs now, what will happen after the elections?” he questioned.

Addressing workers and leaders of other parties, he urged them to persevere for democracy, even if they anticipate defeat. “Today or tomorrow, someday, there will be an opportunity,” he emphasized.

The Congress is yet to unveil its contenders for both Amethi and Rae Bareli.

Rahul Gandhi’s defeat in the long-standing family bastion of Amethi to Smriti Irani in 2019 marked a significant political shift. Earlier this year, his mother Sonia Gandhi stepped down from the Rae Bareli seat, relocating to the Rajya Sabha.

Rahul Gandhi attacks PM Modi

In a recent statement, Rahul Gandhi accused PM Modi of presiding over what he termed as a “corruption academy.”

“Narendra Modi is overseeing a corruption academy nationwide. He’s personally instructing every aspect of the ‘Art of Corruption’ curriculum, including the intricacies of the ‘donation business’,” he remarked on the social media platform X.

Gandhi further elaborated, questioning, “How are donations garnered through raids? How are contracts allocated following donations? What’s the mechanism behind the ‘washing machine’ that absolves corrupt individuals? And how do agencies transform into recovery agents in the ‘bail and jail’ game?”
